below here.
Data Curve Fit Creator Add-in (all versions):
- Functions not Found by Excel - The Data Curve Fit Creator Add-in
file, as well as all supporting workbooks are digitally signed by SRS1
Software to ensure that they came from SRS1 Software and have not been
tampered with. If the Data Curve Fit Creator Add-in is properly
installed and enabled (i.e. is on Excel's list of add-ins to load on
startup) but the new Excel functions still aren't working then that could
mean that these is a problem with the security settings. This is NOT a
bug. It is just the way that Excel security works. To resolve
this, you need to set Excel security to trust documents from SRS1
Software. Normally you are presented with this option when opening any
workbook signed by SRS1 Software, such as the "How to use
DCFC_Add-in.xls".
Digital Camera Poster Creator (all versions):
- New Digital Card / Camera Drive Not Visible - If you already
have Digital Camera Poster Creator running, and then you plug a digital
camera or digital camera card reader into your computer, then the new disk
drive that is created (e.g. "d:\", "e:\", or
"f:\" drive) might be visible to Windows, but not to Digital
Camera Poster Creator. This is because you need to quit and then
restart Digital Camera Poster Creator in order to refresh the list of
available disk drives that it can see.
Digital Camera Poster Creator v2.02:
- Rotating Tiles Causes Image Flip - When the rotate tiles option
was checked on, then the resulting posters would be flipped horizontally
(i.e. the left side of the original image would appear on the right side of
the printed poster). This bug was fixed in version 2.03 of Digital Camera
Poster Creator. The update can be downloaded now from our main Software
Download page.
- No Out Of Disk Space Error Message - When saving poster tile
images to disk, if you ran out of disk space then you wouldn't be notified
by the software. The software would report that all images were saved
successfully even though they were not. This bug was fixed in version
2.03 of Digital Camera
Poster Creator. If there isn't enough disk space to save an image then
you will now be notified by the software. The update can be downloaded now from our main Software
Download page.
- Disk Save Error - When saving poster tile images to external
disk drives, you might have received an error message stating that the
poster images weren't able to be saved to that drive. This bug was fixed in version
2.03 of Digital Camera
Poster Creator. The update can be downloaded now from our main Software
Download page.
- Small Preview - In some cases (when the "rotate tiles"
check box was selected) the poster preview was smaller than it should have
been. The image of what the poster would look like was accurate, but
the preview did not take up the entire screen. This bug was fixed in version
2.03 of Digital Camera
Poster Creator. The update can be downloaded now from our main Software
Download page.
Digital Camera Poster Creator v2.00:
- Error Message Occurs When Open First Image - When users tried to
open their first image, an error message would be shown stating that the
print tile size was invalid. After the user would receive this error message,
though, everything
would work fine. This bug was fixed in version 2.01 of Digital Camera
Poster Creator. The update can be downloaded now from our main Software
Download page.
Email Forwarder v1.15:
- "Tabctl32 Missing" Error Message - When users start
Email Forwarder, a error message pops up stating that there is a file
missing. This error is due to a file conflict on some PC's and has
been fixed in version 1.16 of Email Forwarder. If you see this error,
then download and install the latest version of Email Forwarder. That
will fix the problem.
Email Forwarder v1.10:
- Default Email Program / General Program Error - Some errors can
occur (e.g. "can not resolve all recipients" error) if you do not have
MS-Outlook registered as your default Windows Email program. To resolve
this you need to set Outlook as the default email program in Windows by
selecting the Windows Start Button --> Settings --> Control Panel --> Internet
Options --> Programs and then select Outlook from the list of possible Email
Programs. Make sure that you choose Outlook instead of Outlook Express.
- Component Update - If you are running into any
additional problems then try downloading and installing the latest version of
Email Forwarder.
Email Forwarder v1.01:
- Incompatible with Outlook Security Patch - After several
widespread email virus attacks last year, Microsoft issued a Security patch
for Outlook which greatly limited the extent to which Outlook could be
automated. This security patch interfered with some of the basic
features of Email Forwarder. Since then version 1.10 of Email
Forwarder has been modified to fully work with the Outlook security
patch.
- Low Memory Error - Users who have MS-Outlook 97 or 98 have
occasionally been receiving "low memory" errors when using Email
Forwarder. Microsoft has found and documented a memory leak with
Outlook 97 and 98 which is the cause of this. In order to work around
this bug a change was made to the way that messages are checked in version
1.10 of Email Forwarder. This should eliminate the problem for the
vast majority of users.
- Problems with Meeting Requests - With version 1.01 some
users have been receiving errors when Email Forwarder tries to forward a
meeting request or task assignment. In version 1.10 a more robust
method was used to handle these types of messages which should eliminate the
problem.
- ActiveX Error - Several users reported various
ActiveX errors when using version 1.01 of the software. These could
have several causes, but version 1.10 of Email Forwarder fixed the causes of
the errors.
Email Forwarder v1.00:
- Problem with Outlook 97 - Some users have reported ActiveX
errors when using Email Forwarder with Outlook 97. We have looked into
the problem, have confirmed it and currently have a tentative fix which can
be downloaded at downloads/emfTestFix.exe.
The fix contains a replacement EmailForwarder.exe file which should
eliminate the problems seen. It also contains a small diagnostic
program which can be used to check your install for further problems.
You should only need to use the diagnostic program if the new
EmailForwarder.exe doesn't eliminate your problems.
Excel Cubic Spline function:
- Input Number Order Must Be Ascending - The input values
that are used in Cubic Spline must be in ascending order. If they aren't
then errors in the function could occur. The way to work around this
problem is to sort your data before inputting it into the spline function.
Excel Cubic Spline function v1.00:
- Error Exporting Function to New Workbook - There were two
known errors that could occur when trying to export the Spline function to
another Excel workbook. With Excel 97 and earlier, an "Invalid
Parameter" error would occur. With Excel 2002 and later, the
default security preferences did not allow accessing function in the
workbook, so the Spline function would not be exported to other
workbooks. Both issues were fixed in version 1.01 of the Cubic Spline
spreadsheet.
Jumble Key 1.30:
- Comdlg32.ocx File Missing - In some cases with Jumble Key 1.30,
the installer did not install one of the support files needed by the
program. This installer issue was fixed in version 1.31.
